That looks like the heavy sticky mud that got everywhere. If felt like 50 lbs, Fender kept bending and my helmet felt like a anvil. But what fun we had!

That is a special kind of mud there! That looks like the kind that makes ya break your plastics, well I'm sure on mine it would anyway.

Yes, Fingers is always like that. The Problem with fingers is that is no round abouts for the mud holes, so you must either turn back or go thru.
a few yrs ago a group got organized and tried to help the park rangers with trail maintence and they did some good. But lack of commintment gave way to little more being done. I went there early 2008 and may make a run later this winter but only if I am desprate to ride..

That is exactly how I remember it being. Heck, I almost got the truck and trailer stuck trying to get out of the parking area. I had just finished raining and it was a mess. If it werent for the 4x4's riding with us, the sport quads would have been screwed. No matter how you cut it though,,,,had a good time.

I it was the ride of the pics I posted that when we got there the ground was frozen solid and was about 15 degrees and was supposed stay that way. But by lunch it was 30 and the ground had thawed making it a tacky mess. We came across some ARtic Cat guys who had big mud tires and they were giving it there all just to get through the trails. Kinda like us. Those are the times I wish I had a big bore.

As a matter of fact, the mud from Fingers lake did break my rear fender. It was some heavy stuff. And guess what, my ole lady yelled at me for posting a picture of her Popo all dirty. So I guess I'll have to post one of it being clean. Women.

I mean sure they are great clean too ( Scott wouldn't know about this.... ) But a dirty quad is a good quad. You got a wife that gets out there and gets after it so that's awesome already. Mine is thinking about it....which means NO. I know this from other things I have asked her to think about. If it helps I also learned NO means NO and not maybe later you can sneak some money and hope I don't find out.

She is a keeper Mudryder. Mine did the opposite and wanted to go down a lake embankment, I tried to tell her no, but off she went. Lets see if I can remember how that went,,,,elbow, tire, ass, elbo, grab bar, foot, tire, huge bounce, tire, leg and a pulled off shoe,,,,yep quadin with the wife days are pretty much done!

I think I'm the first to hit the mud at full throttle when we ride aren't I Todd and Mark?
Something about quads, mud and kcscottieG that goes together...I see mud and my quad speeds up. Hmmm, what a combination.
